protected for years to come.
Crafting a lasting entrance... What might appear to be a simple pathway demanded precision and care. The initial stage involved expertly releveling and respacing the existing cobbles. Subsequently, a high-performance resin bonding solution was used to secure them, guaranteeing enduring quality.
The results speak volumes – as you can see in the photographs.

A comprehensive four-day work schedule achieved a significant transformation of these patio areas. Operations commenced on Day 1 with pressure washing and the application of PureSeal Synergy Pro softwash. The subsequent two days involved the complete removal of the existing mortar joints. Work concluded on Day 4 with repointing and the finishing touch of resin paint applied to the leading edge of the 'cabin' patio.

Witness this incredible transformation!
A driveway choked with lichen and black spots has been reborn, looking practically brand new. See the years melt away on my Facebook page.
This corner plot presented unique access challenges, requiring careful planning to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
Two specialized chemical treatments were crucial: an initial shock treatment followed by a long-lasting application for continued results.

The three-tiered rear garden, though the upper levels were petite compared to the large patio, now boasts a beautifully restored appearance.
A PureSeal oxiwash treatment was selected to rejuvenate the surfaces, prioritising the safety of the nearby natural pond located on the second tier.
The 50-meter distance from my van to the garden required some logistical effort, but the finished look is undeniably lovely.
Are you thinking about having your driveway cleaned?
Avoid a low cost quick wash and clean with suboptimal products to avoid damaging your property.
Choose Oxford Exterior Restoration. Here's why
Some companies will offer a cheap jetwash only service with shop bought products (or even bleach and washing up liquid), At Oxford Exterior Restoration we use professional-grade products which we have been fully trained in using.
Alongside this, you will find that our professional company has full public liability insurance, so you will have more protection for your home.
Oxford Exterior Restoration ensures the block driveway is fully re-sanded after cleaning, this is crucial for maintaining its structural integrity and longevity. Here's why:
* **Structural Stability:**
* The sand between the blocks isn't just for aesthetics; it provides essential friction that locks the pavers together. This friction allows the drive to distribute weight evenly and prevents the blocks from shifting or moving.
* Washing, particularly pressure washing, can displace this sand, weakening the drive's structure.
* Re-sanding restores this stability, ensuring the drive can withstand loads and remain even.
* **Weed Prevention:**
* Sand-filled joints create a barrier that inhibits weed growth.
* Washing can create gaps where weed seeds can easily settle and germinate.
* Re-sanding fills these gaps, minimizing weed problems.
* **Preventing Water Penetration:**
* The sand also helps to prevent excessive water penetration into the sub-base of the driveway.
* If water enters the sub base, this can cause many issues, including movement of the blocks, and in freezing conditions, the water can freeze and expand, causing even more damage.
* **Maintaining Appearance:**
* Re-sanding restores the uniform appearance of the drive, filling in unsightly gaps and making it look well-maintained.
In essence, re-sanding is a vital maintenance step that protects your block drive from damage and helps it last longer.

Has your block drive/parking area sunk?
I can restore your driveway/parking area, I will lift all the affected blocks and then relevel the base layer to relay the blocks. Finished by finally reseating them back into place.
The main reasons it may sink over time,
Poor Drainage:
Water accumulation beneath the paving can weaken the foundation. If rainwater or runoff isn't properly drained away, it can erode the supporting substrate, leading to sinking.
Heavy Loads:
Driveways subjected to heavy loads, such as large vehicles, can experience sinking if the base isn't designed to handle the weight. The pressure can compress and shift the underlying material.
Soil Movement:
Natural soil movement, due to factors like freeze-thaw cycles or changes in moisture levels, can cause shifts in the ground. This movement can lead to uneven surfaces and sinking pavers.
Lack of Edge Restraints:
Edge restraints are crucial for keeping the block paving contained. Without them, the blocks can shift and spread, leading to sinking and unevenness.
Loss of Jointing Sand:
The sand that fills the joints between the blocks provides stability. Over time, this sand can be washed away by rain or swept away, weakening the overall structure and leading to sinking.

A full home restoration.
Witness the stunning results of a two-day, comprehensive restoration. From the driveway to the rear astroturf, every element of this beautiful home was revitalized using PureSeal products, including the sandstone patio, fence, and soffit/gutter cleaning. The before-and-after photos truly capture the dramatic transformation, a testament to the hard work and the owners' thrilled reaction
A double block driveway, 165m2
A complex undertaking, this project demanded the simultaneous restoration of two neighbouring driveways. One, unwashed for over a decade, presented a substantial cleaning challenge. The other, while newer, still required meticulous attention. I successfully addressed both driveways using a combination of Synergy Pro and targeted sodium hypochlorite applications to eradicate all stains and black spots
A block driveway, 125m2
This hard clean presented significant challenges, including heavy soiling and extensive lichen growth. The roadside block paving had shifted due to a previous cleaning without any replacement sand being added after. We also addressed a substantial sunken area on the right side of the drive, as well as the area directly in front of the main entrance.
The project's dramatic transformation is best illustrated by the accompanying photographs.
Extra photos are in the gallery of this project.
A concrete poured driveway.
This large project focused on the restoration of a poured concrete driveway and a spacious patio at the front of the house. This included the refurbishment of a walkway leading to the rear of the property, as well as the restoration of a small patio area within the backyard, specifically for the homeowners. To protect the surrounding plant life, Synergy Pro was selected as the restoration agent, due to its less harsh chemical composition.
A small pergola terrace. (12m2)
This small project, but perfectly formed, was completed within a half-day timeframe and involved the remediation of heavy algal accumulation. A high-velocity power wash, employing a rotary nozzle, facilitated the removal of the biological growth. Given the project's adjacency to landscaped areas, a targeted application of SynergyPro was selected to mitigate potential environmental impact
A challenging multi area patio a nd walkway area. (55m2)
Another Project, Involved the restoration of a challenging outdoor space with varied environmental issues. North-facing sections exhibited heavy algae and black spot growth, while south-facing areas were affected by lichens on the slabs. Synergy Pro was the primary cleaning agent, with targeted applications of limited sodium hypochlorite for particularly stubborn areas.
A large residential block driveway. (138m2)
This project was to successfully revitalized a large residential driveway with localized subsidence and surface soiling. The project involved a comprehensive cleaning protocol, including pressure washing and a light sodium hypochlorite treatment using the Rutland Pumps profoam to eliminate traffic grime and minor algal growth.
It culminated in a professional resanding to restore structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
